I specialize in a variety of mental health issues including, attention-deficient hyperactivity disorder, oppositional disorder, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief and loss, and transitional life issues. I work with parents and families of children with emotional and behavioral issues to integrate support strategies that improve the home environment for all. I offer an integrative, holistic approach to counseling that is tailored to your needs in a safe, non-judgmental environment. I primarily use CBT, person-centered, trauma focus, DBT and Gestalt interventions.
I work with children age 10 and older, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My passion is to help those suffering with issues that hold their life hostage to break free and live a fulfilling life. I also work with client’s on spiritual matters.
I am a national certified counselor (NCC), a pre-marital and marriage facilitator and a pastoral counselor. I earned a Master of Divinity from Columbia International University, where I concentrated in Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Formation (PCSF), and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and National Board Certified Counselor. I offer support to children ages 10 and up and adults. I assist individuals in managing a variety of challenges such as low self-esteem, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and more. My belief is that everyone needs someone they can talk to. My goal is to provide a comforting and judgment-free space where individuals can safely explore and navigate life's toughest obstacles.
Salamu or Greetings. My name is Shannon Murray. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in South Carolina. I received a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in Columbia, SC. I have worked in the mental health field well over 20 years.
I work with children, adolescents, teens, and adult within the realms of individual. couple, families, and group. I work from an integrative approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family System Theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Informed CBT modalities. I proficient with treating disorders of anxiety, depression, conduct, grief, personality, and relational conflict.
